Sony Playstation Network PSN Welcome Back Program Launched

  Now that Sony has gotten all caught up and have also released a boatload of DLC (downloadable content),
the Welcome Back Program has been launched.

IMPORTANT NOTE: 

Welcome Back Program MUST Be Claimed By July 3, 2011. 

After that date it will be removed from Playstation Store


NOTE 2:
You may get an error (80710D36) this is due to the flood of traffic trying to claim their Welcome Back packages, Try again a bit later.

  In order to claim your Welcome Back package, you must first go to Playstation Store. When you get there, "Welcome Back" will be the first option highlighted. Press "X". You will now see a screen which allows you to claim your free 30 day Playstation Plus membership (this does not auto-renew).

  When you finish claiming that go to the next box which is "Free PS3 game 1". Choose your game from the list provided. Return and do the same with "Free PS3 Game 2".

  The next two boxes are "Free PSP Game 1" and "Free PSP Game 2". You can make your selections there if you have a PSP system.

  You will also recieve 100 free items in Playstation "Home". To access these items just log in to "Home" and they will be in the Central Plaza's kiosk. Additionally, you will get two new personal spaces- Dragons Lair and Mansion Garage as well as a new game within Home called Ooblag's Alien Casino (June 2011 release).

   When you have finished you may not see the games you downloaded. Not to worry, you can find them by following this path... XMB>PlayStation Network>Account Management>Transaction Management>Services List>SCEA Promotions to complete the process. 

  Remember this is all time-sensitive so be sure to 

complete this before it's gone!
